Why am I such an outsider?
Why do people feel they have to run
and laugh at me?
Why do other people feel they have A RIGHT
to abuse and use me?
Why  does everybody try to touch me?
Like they want to **** me?
I'm human too. I have feelings.

I can listen to the same music you do.
I can wear the same cloths as you do.
I can do my hair the same way you do.
I just choose not to.
I'm not some kind of alien freak that wants
to eat your brains.

How can the saying we're all alike more than
we're different be so true but at the same time
such a lie.
I see you when the mask comes down.
You're like me and you know it.
So why do you keep excluding me?

None of poems ever come out the way I see them in my head when I get that spark of inspiration.
The story behind this is:
I was standing on the steps waiting for somebody and this group of kids kept on looking at me with these bugged out faces and it reminded me of the way the kids at my school looked at me(good old high school) and I just got really upset.
I'M HUMAN. just like everybody else.
